Residential Outdoor Living & Hardscape Design

This conceptual backyard renovation was developed for a residential property in Bedminster, New Jersey, transforming an underutilized outdoor space into a functional and inviting outdoor living environment. The design integrates custom bluestone paving, architectural seat walls, an outdoor kitchen, and a wood-burning fireplace to create a seamless extension of the home for entertaining and everyday living.

The layout was carefully planned to establish distinct gathering, dining, and cooking areas while maintaining comfortable circulation throughout the space. Layered planting beds soften the hardscape, provide seasonal interest, and frame key architectural features without overwhelming the outdoor living areas.

The project includes detailed construction layouts, dimensional plans, and section drawings to communicate design intent and support accurate installation. The result is a timeless outdoor space that balances elegance, functionality, and durability while complementing the character of the home and surrounding landscape.
