Sebastopol Residence

The Sebastopol Residence is a modern residential landscape renovation designed to transform an underutilized property into a functional outdoor living environment that supports relaxation, entertaining, and everyday living. The design creates a seamless transition between the home and landscape through thoughtfully organized gathering spaces, contemporary hardscape elements, and a balanced planting composition inspired by Northern California gardens. 

Key features include expansive porcelain paver terraces, decorative gravel, raised vegetable garden beds, synthetic turf, custom fencing, layered planting beds, and a natural creek feature that enhances the property's character while providing a tranquil focal point. A specimen tree with surrounding ornamental shrubs anchors the rear garden, creating visual interest and seasonal beauty throughout the year. 

The goal was to create a clean, contemporary landscape that maximizes usable outdoor space while incorporating low-maintenance materials, drought-tolerant planting, and functional garden areas. The result is a cohesive outdoor environment that balances modern aesthetics with comfort, sustainability, and year-round enjoyment.
